Michael V. Albrecht, 47, of Thompson Addition Road, Northfork, died suddenly, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side. Born November 3, 1977, in Bluefield, he was the son of the late Otto "Sunny" V. Albrecht and Carol Sue Burnette Albrecht. Michael graduated from Mount View High School, Class of 1996.  For several years, Michael served as a policeman for the City of Keystone and Northfork. Later, he worked in the coal industry as a heavy equipment operator. Michael loved riding his motorcycle, fishing & playing golf. He was a devoted family man and a student of the Bible. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his father-in-law Bob Kowaleski. Those left to cherish his memory, his loving and caring wife of 26 years, Kristen Michelle Kowaleski  Albrecht, two children who he adored, Michael J. Albrecht and Alexandra M. Albrecht, mother in law, Sandy Kowaleski brother in law, Kevin & son, Austin, Karrina Finley who was like a daughter to him, & Phillip (4 Way) Brown. Along with a host of aunts and uncles. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton.
