Maud Rose Phillips Crews, 93, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Ridgecare Assisted Living with her family by her side. Born May 2, 1932, at Speedway, WV, she was the daughter of the late Watson Phillips and Reba Davis Phillips. She was a retired Postmaster of True after 26 years. Maud was of Methodist Faith. In addition to her parents, Maud was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ernest Hershel "Tommy" Crews, son, Billy Ray Crews and siblings, Patra Marshall, Hershel Phillips, Mary Freeman, Charles Phillips, and Odell Walker; and Edgar and Ada Phillips, whom raised her as their own child.

Survivors include her three sons, Homer Crews and wife, Sandy, Ernest Crews and wife, Phyllis, and Robert Crews and wife, Lynn; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory with Pastor Randy Sargent officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour at Memorial Funeral Directory, Princeton, WV. Burial will follow in the Crews Family Cemetery, Lerona. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to your favorite charity.
