Matthew Kelly
Fink
Feb 21, 1973 — Dec 10, 2025
Matthew Kelly Fink, 52 of Ladson SC, formerly of Princeton, was unexpectedly taken from us at his home in Ladson, SC on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was the son of Colin "Butch" Fink & Pamela Leeper Fink of Princeton. He relocated out of state after graduating from Concord College and had lived in South Carolina for several years. While living in Princeton, Matthew attended Princeton Church of God. Matthew was preceded in death by his infant sister, Elizabeth, his paternal grandparents, Herbert and Thelma Fink, maternal grandparents, Richard and Barbara Leeper. In addition to his parents, he is survived by and will be greatly missed by his sister, LeeAnn of Princeton. Although he had no wife or children of his own, Matthew is survived by two nieces that he adorned and felt as if they almost belonged to him, Madison & Eliora Fink-Miller. In addition, he had other relatives who loved him, including Aunt Clara Martin (Tony), Princeton, and Uncle Richard Leeper (Susie) of Pipestem. Matthew enjoyed many activities including mowing & landscaping, he was co-owner B & M Landscaping. Matthw loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, boating and motorcycling. But most of all, he loved hunting in West Virginia with his dad during Thanksgiving break, and spending time with his nieces, the "Apple of his eyes". He enjoyed taking vacations with his sister and his nieces, going to water parks and the beach. Even riding all the roller coasters with the girls got his an "A" in his book. Matthew will truly be missed by "tons of people" as someone noted. The family asks there be no flowers, instead gifts be made for his niece's future. A graveside service will be held at Noon, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Randy Clark officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10:30 until 11:30 A.M at the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
