Obituary

On a sunny June morning, God sent his angels to retrieve his child, Mason Allen Meadows of Eads Mill Road, Camp Creek surrounded by his loving family, holding his hands, he was carried home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born March 31, 2001, he was the son of Kimberly Howell, and Bruce and Caralie Meadows. For the last twenty-two years, Mason lived a full and wonderful life.  He loved Disney and music.  He was a ray of sunshine to many and his laugh was contagious. Mason was a simple person at heart and had an aura about him that touched hearts, minds, and brought people closer together. Large crowds of family and friends – loved so much, but material and wordly things meant nothing, really.  He wanted simple love and wanted you to feel it in return. Mason's love for music was amazing, and he showed it with a super smile and a wave of his arm.  However, when he was done, he told you without speaking a word. His strength was unbelievable – he topped everything life and sickness threw at him.  Mason did this with a smile, as if he were saying "It's "ok y'all – I've got this.  Just le me rest some." Mason was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eldridge Meadows and William "Bill" Wile; Grandmother, Donna Lilly Howell; Uncle, Keith Meadows and Aunt Debbie Thomas. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kimberly Howell, Bruce and Caralie Meadows; Brother, Levi Eldridge Meadows; Sister, Lexi Garansuay (Michael Hoyle); Niece and nephew, Amirah and Xavier; Grandfather, Kenneth G. Howell; Grandmother, Marie A. "Polly" Wile; Grandparents, Wayne and Cindy McBride; Great-grandparents, Willis Helmondollar and Linda Miller; Uncle, Kenneth J. Howell (Petra Vasale); Cousins, "his girls", Abi and Kensley Howell and Eliza New Kirk; Uncle and Aunt Greg and Sara Meadows; Aunt and Uncle, Teresa and Charles Griffith; Uncle and Aunt, David and Courtney Scott; Many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and his extended family. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Todd Smith, Beverly Whitt, the nursing staff of Princeton CCU, Princeton Choice Medical, Princeton Rescue Squad, Compassus Hospice.  We are grateful for Rescare and for all of his caretakers that assisted with Mason's care.  Thanks to Beth and Terry Bailey, The Oak and Chef Sarah Camacho.
