Mary Jean "Jeannie" Woolwine, 73, died Monday March 10, 2025.  She was born April 05, 1951, in Raleigh County, WV and grew up in McDowell County before marrying and moving to Mercer County.

Jeannie was a 1968 graduate of Welch High School in McDowell County and was formerly employed at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Princeton, WV where she made friends with nearly everyone who came through her line.  She was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger and would help anyone in need without question.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Prichard and Nancy Prichard; her two brothers Daniel Farrow Prichard and Thomas Edward Prichard; and her granddaughter Kylah Grace Woolwine.  She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church attending in both Bluefield, WV and Princeton, WV.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Joey Woolwine of Princeton, WV; Eric Woolwine of Daniels, WV; David Woolwine and his wife Lora of Princeton, WV; two grandchildren Dominic Woolwine and his wife Allisha of Kodak, TN; Haleigh Boswell and her husband Brett of Dandridge, TN; three special grandchildren who she loved with all her heart as well as five great-grandchildren Willa, Hayden, Wrenley, Braleigh and Kannon; and a huge list of honorary sons who always seemed to magically appear at the house every weekend.  She is also survived by her sisters, Cindy Lugo of Stephenville, TX, Donna Jo Sosa of Riverview, FL, her brother Kenaz Prichard of Stephenville, TX and a host of nieces and nephews who she loved like they were her own.

In accordance with her wishes, a Catholic Mass will be performed at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton, WV with Father Sebastian E. Devasya officiating. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton, WV starting at 1:00 pm before the 2:00 pm mass.  Family and friends are invited to attend.
