Obituary

Mary Ruth Hall, 81, of Princeton, died Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born August 12, 1941, in Pikeville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lemon Jack and Ethel Mullens Cochran.  She was a graduate of Spanishburg High School and a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was a member of Rich Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded by her husband, William Hall and five siblings. Those left to cherish her memory, are her devoted daughter, Jacqueline Copenhaver (Shawn); Three adoring grandchildren, Megan Cecil (Dakota), Zachary and Jacob Copenhaver; Two great-grandchildren River Jack and Oaklynn Rayne; Four siblings, Phyllis Thornton, Florine Ferrell, Clara Owens and Nina Cochran. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 17, 2022, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Jamie Mattox officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Dakota Cecil, Shawn, Zachary and Jacob Copenhaver, Roger Ollis and Leland Hedrick. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
