Mary Lou Kennedy, 88, of Wytheville VA, formerly of Princeton and Sifton, AK passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, following a long illness. Mary was born October 15, 1935, in Swifton, Arkansas to Edgar and Edith McKinney Bails. She attended school there and later moved to West Virginia after meeting and marrying the love of her life, Stewart. She enjoyed visits back to Arkansas to see her family while her health allowed and enjoyed family gatherings with Stewarts' family. Always smiling, Mary never had a bad word to say about anyone. Although she was never blessed with children, she loved spoiling her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed watching birds and loved any kind of desserts. She especially loved the seasons changing with Fall being her favorite. Left to cherish her memory are her nieces Janice Jones, Bonnie Cline, Danielle Keene and Belinda Kennedy; Several great-nieces and nephews. Private burial will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
