Mary Helen Meadows, 75, of Camp Creek, died Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born December 29, 1948, at Port Huron, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Julian Edward Hanchon and Mary Florence O'Neill Hanchon.

After graduating from high school, she served her country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. While serving with the Navy, Mary met and married her late husband Ronnie L. Meadows, Sr. who was also serving in the Navy at that time. After being discharged from the service, they returned back to Ronnie's home in Camp Creek. She retired from Southern States in Princeton as the Bookkeeper with 20 years of service.  Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband Ronnie And one sister, Julie Hayes. Mary is survived by her two children, Denise Meadows and Ronnie L. Meadows Jr. and wife Rebecca; Four grandchildren, Brandon Convery, Amber Van Meter, Jill Taylor and Jacob Meadows; One brother, John Hanchon.

In honoring her wishes, she has been cremated and no services will be held. Her inurnment will be in the Meadows Family Cemetery at Camp Creek.
