Mary Rebecca Coy, 77, of Princeton, died suddenly Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Bluefield Regional Hospital. Born October 10, 1946, in Pearisburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Raleigh Riggs and Lelia Whittaker Riggs. Mary loved her family, loved her Pastor Bro Ken Cormier, his wife, and the church family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded by Clayton Riggs, Douglas Riggs, Billy Riggs, Betty Riggs and Margie Penick. Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Gilbert Riggs, Princeton, WV; sister, Irene Willien, Kernersville, NC; children, Rev. Greg Coy (Coletta), of Franklin, LA, Gary Coy (Sarah), of Princeton, WV, Troy Coy, of Wheeling, WV, and Amy Blake (Jeff) of Franklin, LA; 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; her extended family, Rev. Donald Meade Jr., Rev. Phil Kerr, Robert Repass, Brenda Meadwell, and Dawn Adkins. Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Coy, Coty Coy, Austin Coy, Jacob Coy, Jeff Blake, and Josh Shaver, honorary pallbearers, AJ Bennett and Rev. Greg Coy.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 9, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor, Rev. Ken Cormier officiating. Burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
