Mary Ellen Campbell, 81, of Princeton, formerly of Manhattan NY, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Summers Health Care Center, Hilldale. Born June 27, 1943, in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late John William Lyttle and Mary Drury Lyttle.

Mary Ellen was a devout Catholic and retired as a nurse. She was a devoted wife sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph P. Campbell, along with two brothers, Father Gregory P. Lyttle, and John William Lyttle, Jr. Survivors include his siblings, Patricia Joan Hatfield, Robert Michael Lyttle and wife Gail, David Francis Lyttle and wife Patricia and Jeanne Marie Schmauss and husband David; Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A service of celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Callicoon, NY.  Inurnment will follow in the Veterans Cemetery in Liberty, NY.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
