Martha Elizabeth Parker, 89, of Syres Lane, Princeton, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born, December 12, 1933, in Radford, VA. Martha spent her entire career in nursing and caring for people. She loved and adored her family. Martha retired from Montgomery General Hospital in Blacksburg with 25 years service as a Certified Nursing Assistant and also cared for many foster children over her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jessie Jackson Parker and three siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Parker Fox and fiancée, C.J. Scott of Princeton; Son, Nobel Parker of Galax, VA; Grandchildren, Jordan Fox and Emily Jo Scott. Martha has been cremated. A gathering will be held at 11:00 A.M until 12:00 P.M, on  Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
