Marian Magdalene Jenkins, 63, of Lerona, died suddenly Friday, July 8, 2022, at St. Frances Hospital in Charleston. Born January 30, 1959, at Peterstown, she was the daughter of the late Arley Vernon Meadows & Billie Louise Martin Meadows. She was a former employee with Celanese Corporation in Narrows, VA and co-owner of J & M Upholstery in Princeton. Marian loved life and her family, while her health permitted, she enjoyed being outside with her hands in the dirt and mowing grass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband James Clarence Jenkins Jr. and a brother Alvin Meadows. Those left to cherish her memory, two devoted sons, Justin James Jenkins and Christopher Cory Jenkins, six siblings: Wayne Meadows (Virginia), Donnie Meadows (Barbara), Dougie Meadows (Windy), Cindi Meadows, Billie Jean Hill, & Melissa Clayton (Adam), former brother-in-law Jimmy Craig along with a host of nieces and nephews. The family has honored Marian's request, she will be cremated, and the family will have a private service at a later date.
