Obituary

Margaret Mae Dove, 79, of Hendricks formerly of Shaker Lane, Princeton died peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with cancer; Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at her home. Born April 16, 1945, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Henry Edmund Morrison and Lella Mae Turner Morrison. Margaret was a graduate of Princeton High School and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed UTV side by side rides, motorcycle rides, sewing, westerns, and fellowship with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 57 years, whom she loved very much, Robert Harold Dove, Jr. and her beloved cat, Midnight.  Survivors include her two daughters, Rebecca Sue Morelos and husband Juan, of Dayton, Texas and Roberta "Donna" Helmick and husband Kevin of Hambleton; Two grandchildren, Amber Nicole Galvan and husband Erick of Liberty, Texas and Bayli Dawn Rhodes and her husband Luke of Harman; Three great-grandchildren, Sophia, Leo, and Nicho; One granddog, Raisin; One sister, Carolyn Sue Taylor and husband Richard of Elgin, SC; Two sister-in-laws, Brenda Collier and Tonja Bailey, both of Princeton. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Dan Jividan officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit the family to celebrate Margaet's life on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
