Lustrus Daniel "Snoop" Doyle, 85, of Princeton died suddenly early Wednesday morning, August 17, 2022, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born May 31, 1937, at Island Creek, he was the son of the late Howard Arthur Doyle and Sadie Belle Jackson Doyle. Snoop was a graduate of Athens High School and retired as a millwright from the Celanese Corporation in Narrows with more than 37 years of service.  He was a member of the Princeton Rescue Squad for 10 years, and also served as Captain.  He loved to hunt, fish and watch WVU football. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by five siblings: Cletus Doyle, Audrey Wiley, Renae Nelson, Janet Murphy and Larry Lee Doyle. Survivors include his devoted wife of 65 years, Junie Eades Doyle; Three children, Kathy Hawks and husband Jerry, Ricky Doyle, Pamela Doyle and Jason Doyle who was raised as a son; Six grandchildren; Eight great-grandchildren; One sister Norma Jean "Penny" Avery; Brother-in-law, Benny Eades, whom he considered a brother; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held at noon on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with his son-in-law, Jerry Hawks speaking and Reverend Dan Thyng.
