Loretta Stennett, 83, of Princeton, sadly lost her long battle with heart disease on May 15, 2022. Born, March 23, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Glenn GoodyKoontz and Emma Williams GoodyKoontz. Loretta retired from Rockwell International and returned to Bluefield State College where she received her degree as a Radiology Technician and Mammographer where she retired after 21 years of dedicated service to PCH. Loretta was a charter member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Millard and her beloved son, Joseph Lee Ferguson. Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, Leroy Stennett; One daughter, Elizabeth Hollifield (Jeff); One sister, Lorraine Fowlkes Fahnestock (Don) of Myrtle Beach, SC; Three step-sons, Robert, Allen and Michael Stennett; The two loves of her life, her two grandchildren, Chelsea and Cole Hollified. She will always be remembered for her humor, faith, strength, and her love for others. Loretta had a huge heart and a soft spot when it came to animals. The family has hnored Loretta's request that she be cremated. Memorial services to celebrate the life of Loretta Stennett will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 20, 2022 from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road with Pastor Dr. Dan Jividen officiating.  Inurnment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may vist with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
