On Friday, April 22, 2022, Mrs. Lois Gray Thomas, 86 of Rockville, MD went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family. She was born in Princeton, WV on October 21, 1935, to the late William Henry and Ledia Maxil Sims. Lois was a volunteer at the Rockville Senior Center Thrift Store. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Thomas; two sons Jerry and David Thomas; siblings Charlie, Richard, William and Betty. She is survived by her children Malinda Freeman and Herbert Wayne Thomas and his wife Linda; Five grandchildren Kimberly, Ashley, Nikki, Cody and Krystal; Nine great-grandchildren Hayden, Devin, Emily, Jeremiah, Lucy, Jonah, Nikita, Jaxon and Jack; She is also survived by her beloved grand dog Sophie. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 29, 2022, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton, WV, with John Puckett officiating.  Those attending the graveside service are requested to meet at the cemetery by service hour.
