Linda Jean Elmore, 74, of Princeton, died suddenly, early Friday morning, August 25, 2023, at Hidden Valley Care Center in Oak Hill. Born June 8, 1948, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Bailey and Emma Bailey. Linda was a graduate of Princeton High School, as well as Cosmetology School.  She was a retired employee for both Princeton Community Hospital and Lynchburg General Hospital. While her health allowed, she was an active member of the Princeton Salvation Army and a devoted grandma to Bode. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo. Linda had a habit when she arrived at a stop sign with her grandson Bode in the car, she would always say "Stop in the name of Love". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Lee Elmore, and son Marvin Juan Munoz. Those left to cherish her memory, her grandson, Bode Kruz Munoz, the light of her life, daughter in law, Heather Munoz, sister, Brenda Taylor; Step-grandchildren, Alexander, Catelynn, Jessica, Joseph, Elizabeth, Brady. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 1, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Sergeant Melissa White officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Garden Mausoleum.
