Linda Sue Dick, 80, of Princeton, died peacefully Monday, October 2, 2023, at Princeton Health Care Center. Born January 14, 1943, at Blue Jay 6, she was the daughter of the late Orley Carl Matherly and Etta Marie Meadows Matherly. L inda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of Pettry Church of Christ. She loved going to the Cracker Barrel, watching Hallmark movies, and being in the outdoors. Linda will be remembered for being friendly and quick-witted. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Enfield "Ginger" Dick, great-grandson, Noah Green, and four brothers, Orley Jr., Kenneth, Chester and Darrell Matherly. Survivors include her three children, Anna Wysong, David W. Dick and wife Diana, Mark E. Dick and wife Debra; Six grandchildren, Ginger Lynn Wysong, Johnnie Wysong, Amy White, Elizabeth Syres, Ashlee Rice, Cody Dick; Twenty great-grandchildren; One sister, Lois Moser; Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 9, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with George Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
