Leslie Benton "Butch" Kessler Jr. passed from this earth Saturday September 6,
2025. Born August 18, 1951, to Leslie Benton Kessler Sr. and Margaret
"Marie" Gwinn Kessler, Butch was preceded by his parents and sisters, Beverly
Pennington of Princeton, WV and Brenda Cox of Meadow Bridge, WV.

Butch is survived by his brother, Eddie Joe Kessler (Debbie) of Princeton, WV
and sister Dena ''Penny'' Miller (Herb) of Forest Hill, WV. He is also survived by
his longtime love, Iris Asbury of Princeton, WV and her son Billy Asbury, who he
considered as a son. He is further survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

A special mention to niece Mistie Richmond of Meadow Bridge who made extra
efforts to care for Butch in the last few years and brother-n-law Wayne Cox for the
care he had also extended.

In his younger days, Butch loved cleaning and tinkering with his cars and later years
pampering stray cats.
