Larry Wayne Riggs, 80 of Bluefield died Saturday, October 3, 2026 at his home. Born in Switchback on May 4, 1946 he was the son of the late Clyde Riggs and Dulcie Shrader Riggs. Mr. Riggs was an electrician who had retired from Consol Energy. He loved riding his bicycle daily as well as going to the Commission of Aging Senior Center and the Princeton Health & Fitness Center to be with his friends. He enjoyed watching Westerns and going to the beach. Larry was a member of the Bailey Masonic Lodge AF & AM and he proudly served his country with the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Ann Riggs. His grandson, Bradley Wiley and all of his siblings, Doreen Miles, Trina Cook, Delores Beavers, Claudia Moore, Andrew Riggs, Ward Riggs and James Riggs.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Nina Marie Walls and his granddaughter, Courtney Renee Wiley both of Reidsville, NC. Special Niece, Lynne Beavers-Stanton and several other nieces and nephews also survive. Private Services were held at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell.
