Larry Jack Heaton, 71, of Princeton, died Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at his home. Born December 24, 1952, in Princeton, he was the son of the late Lewis and Catherine Heaton. Larry was a member of the Lashmeet Family Ministries Center. Although Larry was a quiet man, he was a very kind and gentle man. He loved to watch college sports cheering for his favorite team the Mountaineers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Blevins, Robert Heaton, and Gene Heaton. Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 12 years Karen Ann Heaton; Stepchildren that he treated like his own, Terran Weitzel (Heather), Vanessa Steele (Jeff), Dr. Mark Weitzel (Trisha), Jessica Weese (Charles), Adam York (Tara), Jackie York, Charlotte Weese (Joe). Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Siblings James Heaton, Jerry Heaton and wife Janet, and Patricia Ann Lowe; Mother-In-Law Dana Dobson; Sister-in-laws Katherine Asbury and Janet Adkins. Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Larry Heaton will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 8, 2024, from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory with Pastors Gary Raulerson and Jerry Heaton officiating.  Burial with military graveside rites will be provided by the WV Honor Guard in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Princeton.  Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
