Kiera Ann Walkup, 43, of Glenwood, was ushered into the arms of her loving Lord & Savior early Saturday morning, August 30, 2025, from her home. Born August 9, 1982, in Bluefield, she is the daughter of Stanley Eugene Walkup & Karen Ann Bailey Walkup of Glenwood.  Kiera was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School, Class of 2000, and had attended Concord College and Mercer Vo Tech Center. While her health allowed, she had worked for Springhaven Clinic and Wells Fargo.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Neal Bailey and grandparents Carl T. "Jr." & Dorothy Walkup & Uncle Larry Walkup. Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents, Stanley & Karen Walkup, grandmother, Wanda Bailey, aunts & uncles, Barbara & Steve Abbatello, Debbie & Brian Martin, Rhonda & Darrell Davenport, Toney & Mickey Walkup & B.J. Walkup, along with a host of cousins.

A time to celebrate and honor her life will be held 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Gerald Roberts officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 3:30 P.M. until the service hour.
