Obituary

Kenneth Howard Turner, 76, of Princeton, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, June 19, 2022, at Princeton Community Hospital.  Born March 2, 1946, in Fayetteville, he was the son of the late George Turner and Mazie Newberry Turner.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving with the U.S. Army.  Kenneth was a handyman, able to do anything, he had the ability to work on lawn mowers or heavy equipment. Kenneth had a great knowledge of maritime laws, especially in the construction of both large and small vessels. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister, Elsie Thompson.  Survivors include he wife of 43 years, Brenda Joyce Wiley Turner;  Two daughters, Pamela Mae Turner-White (Carl Jr.) and Sylvia Turner; Two step-sons, Terry Jones and Jerry Jones; Six  grandchildren, Chelsea, Joe, Jeremiah, Kaylee, Parker and Jaylen; Two siblings, Carol Turner and Carl Turner.  In honoring Kenneth's wishes, he will be cremated, and his cremains will be scattered at sea.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .  The Turner family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
