Kenneth Warren Sifford, 63, of Elgood, West Virginia, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025. He was born Jan. 3, 1962, in Bluefield, Virginia, the only child of Warren and Pearl (White) Sifford. A graduate of Mercer County Technical Education Center, he attended Bluefield State College after serving in the U.S. Army. Kenny was a fiercely loyal friend who would drop everything when called for help. He extended trust and respect to everyone unconditionally — and cut loose those who proved unworthy of that trust and respect. He might fight with his loved ones, but he was always the first to forgive. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Sandra C. (Moulden) Sifford. He is survived by Carla Colbert, his wife of 15 years, whom he married Oct. 7, 2009, in Athens, Ohio; and numerous friends. In accordance with Kenny's wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
