Obituary

Kenneth Edward "Kenny" Hudgins, 76, of Montcalm, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 30, 2023, at his residence. Born January 3, 1947, in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late James Clayton Hudgins and Ada Odle Hudgins. Kenny enjoyed watching westerns and working on automobiles. He had worked for S&M Mobile Homes, for Danieley Mobile Homes and Wrecking Business and also worked in the logging industry and also on cars. Kenny was known for being a "jack of all trades". In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his daughter, Ada Marie Hudgins. Left to cherish his memories are his son, Kenneth "Carl" Hudgins, II of the home, and daughter, Sherry and Jonathan Poore, of Montcalm; brother, William "Pete" Gibson, of VA; three sisters, Totie and husband, Smitty Smith, of Rock, Phyllis Shupe, of Bluewell, and Judy Lawrence Dyson, of Lorton Lick Road; four grandchildren, Andrew Hudgins and wife, Shea, of Bluewell, Jeb Belcher and fiancée, Christina Bircham of Durhing Hollow Road, Brittany Belcher and fiancé, Brett Ellis, of Bluewell and Kayla Hudgins, of Fl; eight great grandchildren, Brentlee Hudgins, Junior Ellis, Laken Sells, and Jacob Duncan, Morgan Belcher, Landon Belcher and Maci Belcher, and Emerald Hudgins. The family has honored Kenny's wishes, he has been cremated and there will be no services. Online condolences may be shred with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
