Kenneth Lawrence Engle, 98, of Wyndale Drive, Princeton, formerly of Charleston, went to meet his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at Glenwood Health Care Center. Born June 21, 1925, in El Tofo, Chile, he was the son of the late Earl Ernest Engle and Ruby Marion Strick Engle. Kenneth was a loving husband, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He worked in the steel industry as an Environmental Supervisor and retired from Bethlehem Steele. Kenneth attended boarding school Instituto Ingles in El Tofo, Chile.  He came to love the Lord and attended Johnston Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 72, years, Audrey Jean Engle and his two siblings, Harold Ernest Engle and Anita Marion Sturrock; Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, David Engle and wife Rocio, Peter Engle and wife Susan, Michael Engle and wife Marty, Paul Engle, Jennifer Simmons and husband James and Vivian Skrha and husband Ron; Eleven loving grandchildren; Fourteen loving great-grandchildren; Several loving nieces, nephews and his church family.
