Son of the late Charles Valentino Lopez and Gertrude Curley Drake, Kenneth was born in Gary (Ream), West Virginia on July 6, 1933. Kenneth lived his earlier years in McDowell County, being raised in Ream, West Virginia. He attended schools in McDowell County and graduated from Gary High School. Kenneth retired as a Supervisor of US Steel Alphaeus Preparation Plant in Gary, West Virginia, with 31 years of service. 18 years later, he retired from Health South Rehabilitation Hospital as a physical therapy assistant. In November of 1987, Kenneth moved to Princeton with his wife and son. Kenneth became a member of the Princeton Advent Christian Church in October, 1996, where he faithfully served on the board and was an usher for many years. His dedication to the church and serving the Lord was always at the center of his life. Kenneth was predeceased by his father and mother, his grandparents, Fred and Cora Curley, who raised him, son, Frank Curley, and his wife, Emma Jean Curley. Kenneth is survived by his children, Becky Riggins and husband, Alan, Scott Myers and wife, Teresa, and daughter-in-law, Toni Curley. He is survived by his grandchildren Jennifer Hartwell and husband, Chris, Janna Riggins, Tyler Myers, and Tanner Myers and wife, Courtney. Kenneth is also survived by his great grandchildren, Jaylen, Jazzy, Jade, Jaxon, and Jayce. His surviving siblings include Phyllis Metheny, Nancy Miller, Karen Buckenberger and husband Dave, and Kelby Gray. He is also survived by his loving brother and sister in-laws, Robert Orr, Darrell Orr and wife Julie, and Diane Abel and husband, Doug. Services for Kenneth will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton, West Virginia , with Pastors Dr. Sam Walsh and Doug Abel officiating. Family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M. with service commencing at 11:00 a.m. The burial will be at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Princeton Advent Christian Church at 706 Prince Street, Princeton, West Virginia, 24740. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
