Junie Belle Eades Doyle, 83, of Princeton, died peacefully Friday morning, August 18, 2023, at Glenwood Retirement Village with her family by her side. Born March 23, 1940, at Island Creek, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Eugene Eades & Crystal Thorn Eades Ferguson. Junie was a graduate of Athens High School, received her Bachelor's degree from Concord College and earned her Master's degree from West Virginia University(COGS). She was an educator for 37+ years working as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal in Mercer County. She was admired by teachers and students for her dedication and commitment to their well-being. Her colleagues respected her and even today, share fond memories of their time with Mrs. Doyle. Junie loved hunting and was an avid WVU sports fan. Early in her retirement years she played on a softball team when she and Snoop enjoyed being snowbirds in Florida for 22 years. She was a member of Johnston Chapel Baptist Church. The family would like to especially thank the remarkable nursing staff and personnel at Stonerise (Glenwood Nursing Home) for their compassion and willingness to go above and beyond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life of 65 years, Lustrus Daniel (Snoop) Doyle. Survivors include her three children, Kathy Hawks & husband Jerry, Ricky Doyle & Pamela Doyle all of Princeton. Six grandchildren; Jason Doyle, Rusty Hawks, Jody Hawks & wife Sheena, Kayla Blankenship & husband Tyler, Cody Doyle, & Dakota Cheatwood. 6 Great Grandchildren, and one brother, Benny Eades of Pembroke, VA. Services to celebrate the life of Junie Doyle will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 21, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor's Dan Thyng & Jim Simmons officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 10:00 A. M. until the service hour.
