Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.
It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Judith Champ Salem on February 2, 2026, at her residence. She was born, January 18, 1957, in Princeton, to the lates James "Jake" Champ and LouElla Crum Champ.
Judy was a devoted mother, sister, and aunt. She was a proud grandmother to 3 grandchildren who she loved dearly. The thing that made her happy in life was spending time and making memories with her family. Judy shared a close relationship with her son Chris throughout her life.
Judy was a 1975 graduate of Princeton High School. She held various jobs such as Mooney's, Kroger Deli and Stateline Market. She was a homemaker and a devoted caregiver to her brother Carl.
Judy was a member of the Oakvale United Methodist Church for many years. Judy loved attending church with her sister Brenda and brother Carl. Judy's memory will continue through her family for the love she showed for each of us, and how she always showed up to take care of those who needed her most. She will be missed tremendously.
