Judith Ann Damewood, 72, of Princeton, died Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born October 31, 1951, in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Stinson, Sr. and Evelyn Holdren Stinson. Judy was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1969, before graduating from Business School in Crewe, VA. Judy worked most recently at CMS in Princeton after spending most of her career at Princeton Community Hospital as a switchboard operator and as a volunteer manager. She was a member of Rogers Street Community Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded by brothers, Elwood Stinson, Jr. and Kevin Stinson; granddaughter, Haylee Joy Nave. She is survived by a her loving husband of 22 years, Douglas "Peanut" MacArthur Damewood; sons, Richard "Dickie Lee" Nave and wife, Felicia, of Princeton and Keith Edward Nave and wife, Melissa, of Montcalm; step children, Michele Crouch and husband, Vernon, of Christiansburg and Jeff Damewood and wife, Sabrina, of Princeton; sisters, Debbie Johnson and Kathy Farmer, both of Princeton; grandchildren, Kobe Nave, Gavyn Nave, both of Montcalm and Ethan Nave, of Princeton; step grandchildren, Britnee Hall and Matthew and Eden Damewood, all of Princeton; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with niece Melanie Ross speaking. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 P.M.  until the service hour at the funeral home.
