Joseph (Joe) Wayne Thomas, 66, of Princeton, WV went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, June 10, 2022, with his loving wife and daughters by his side. He was born in Princeton on June 3, 1956, to Fred C. Thomas and Lura Stinson Thomas. He was educated in Mercer County. He attended First Baptist Church of Bluewell when his health permitted and gave his heart to the Lord in November 2021. He was a hardworking man who loved his family and life.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him.  Mr. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Beverly; daughter, Stephanie Hall (Barry) of Princeton, WV; daughter, Kristen Chitwood (Wallace) of Callaway, VA; grandsons, Blake Hall and Easton Chitwood. Services will be conducted at Memorial Funeral Directory on Tuesday June 14 ^th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Milam officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Hall, Kenny Thompson, Ronnie Louthen, Doug Palmer, Steve Palmer, and David Thompson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
