Johnny M. Shreve, 76, of Princeton, died Sunday afternoon, December 18, 2022, at Princeton Community Hospital with his family at his side. Born February 28, 1946, at Horse Creek, he was the son of the late Lawrence & Josephine Spence Shreve Cline. Johnny graduated from Daytona High School and Daytona Beach Junior College. He had a successful career with Publix's for over thirty-five years, retiring as Store Manager. Johnny moved back to the beautiful mountains eight years ago, allowing him the opportunity to visit with many old friends in McDowell County. Upon his move back to Princeton, he married his lovely lady, Rita Sayer, and a few years later, was blessed to take her as his wife.  Johnny & Rita were so fortunate to spend five & half years together in marriage, bringing both great joy & happiness. Johnny loved his family in Florida & West Virginia.  It was nothing for him to travel to Florida to watch his grandson play baseball. He was preceded by a grandson, C.J. Harris. Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Rita Sayer Shreve, two children, David Shreve (Crystal), Marcy Harris (Craig), and two grandchildren, Lexi Harris & Zachary Harris. Two bonus daughters and their families, Racine Stefancic (Roger), Rachelle Richmond (Dale) Grandchildren, Steven Stefancic (Sarah), Andy Stefancic, Allison Stefancic, Jeremy Richmond (Meghan) & Lillianna Richmond. & One great grandson Liam Stefancic. The family has honored Johnny's wishes, he has been cremated and a private family service was held in the home.
