John C. Shockley Sr., 66, of Princeton, died suddenly Monday, August 29, 2022, at his residence.  Born June 7, 1956, in Baltimore MD, he was the son of the late Charles Shockley & Wilma Moore Shockley. Mr. Shockley was a faithful employee for the City of Princeton for over 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Linda Kay Pettrey Shockley; three siblings, Vickie Rippy, Dianne Caldwell Vest, and Darlene Radford. Those left to cherish his memory, four children, John C. Shockley Jr, (Candy), Melissa D. Horner, James M. Shockley & Toby R. Shockley (Tammy).,9 Grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren; sibling, Mike Shockley. A time of gathering & sharing will be held Wednesday from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton. The family has honored Mr. Shockley's wishes, he has been cremated.
