Jerry M. Williams, 85, of Browns Ridge Road, Lerona, died peacefully, Tuesday evening, April 19, 2022, at his home with his loving wife holding his hand. Born April 10, 1937, in Lerona, he was the son of the late Bud Marshall Williams and Eula Neely Williams. Jerry graduated from Athens High School and earned his Engineering Degree from Virginia Tech. Jerry worked for several engineering firms in the area before moving to Ohio where he retired working for a Nuclear Waste Company. Survivors include his wife Jocelyn Williams; Three daughters, Jodie Bandholz and husband Justin, Shantell Scales and Lakendra Johnston; Five grandchildren, Katherine, Andrew and Julia Bandholz, Carter and Kayden Johnston; Special friends, Lois Henderson and Donald Phillips. In honoring Jerry's wishes, he has been cremated and a private inurnment will be held in the Keaton Family Cemetery near Lerona.
