Obituary

Jerry F. Treolo, 85, of Keystone/Princeton, went home to be with the Lord and his beloved Margaret, on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Jerry, son of the late William Treolo and Mabel Elmore/Treolo, was married to his beloved Margaret. Jerry and Margaret were devout Christians, both in and out of church, and they loved their church, their friends, and their neighbors, almost as much as they loved their family. Besides their trips to Dollywood, Walmart, Krogers and Lowes, Jerry and Margaret truly just loved to be with people, which was their real hobby, all the while spreading the good news of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They are finally back together forever, and sadly missed here while we all continue the work of the Lord until we reunite with them again. They leave behind a lot of good friends and family (a special thanks to Casey Martin and Brenda Woodward for always being there for them), and a lot of treasures. For their family that means an inheritance of cases of beanie babies and truck loads of yard sale items, but their true gift is the legacy of Love and Kindness they leave in their wake. Each of us that knew them are certainly blessed, and have some tremendously large shoes to fill as we carry on in their absence, but if we grow the seeds they took the time to plant and nurture in each of us, the world will be a better place. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Treolo and one daughter Dina Crandell. Left to cherish his memory and leaving behind are one daughter, Sharon/Charles Miller of Union, WV and one son, Dwayne Treolo of Louisville, KY; Nine grandchildren and Fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday,  November 14, 2022, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors John Branham, Olen Robertson and Donnis Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, in Bluewell.  Friends may visit with the family Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations may go to the Princeton Church of the Nazarene, 309 Oakvale Road, Princeton, WV  24740. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com . The Treolo family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
