Jerry Gene Jones, 64, of Roanoke, VA, formerly Princeton, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026. Born February 8, 1961, in Princeton, WV, he was the son of the late Clayton A. Jones and Betty Jean White Jones. Jerry graduated from Princeton Senior High School with honors in History and Science. Jerry worked at different jobs including Pepsi plant in Princeton until his retirement. He loved the river, camping, and fishing. He was a joy to be around. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Jones. Survivors include his children, Susan Jones, Adam Jones, and Kristen Jones; sister, Rosemary Jones Weeks Whittaker, Gary Jones and Glen Jones; step children, Joshua and Heather. The family will honor his wishes, he will be cremated with a service to be held later, with his nephew, Darren Weeks officiating.
