Jerome Adair Jackson, age 72, formerly of Princeton, passed away at his home in Xenia, Ohio on January 21, 2023, in the care of Hospice of Dayton.  He was born in Beckley, West Virginia on January 22, 1950.  Most of his youth he was raised in Princeton, West Virginia where his parents Herman and Wilma Easter Jackson resided.  Later after the death of his parents, Jerome came to live with Bob and Eleanor Muncy, who were long time residents of Xenia.  Jerome made many friends here in Xenia, while he attended Green Ink.  Jerome has been involved with the Toward Independence Program in Xenia and has been a big part of their family for many years.  Words cannot express the kindness and love he was felt with these two agencies. Jerome was a long-time member of the First Church of Christ of Xenia.  His days were filled with his hobby of watching movies:  especially Godzilla, King Kong, and Big Foot. Jerome, we love you, thanks for the joy and laughter. He is survived by cousins Terri (Muncy) and Doug Swan, Gerri (Muncy) and Andy Baker, Rob and Becky Muncy, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 27, 2023, at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery with Minister Doug Swan officiating.  Those attending the service are requested to meet at the cemetery by service hour. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday evening, January 24, 2023, at the First Church of Christ at 441 Ledbetter Rd. in Xenia. Past Minister and friend, Pete Creamer will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent in Jerome's name to:  Toward Independence Program, 81 East Main Street.
