Jennifer “Cissi” Lynn McLamb, 61, of Coalwood, passed away suddenly Monday, May 11, 2026. Born May 13, 1964, at Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Thomas Alger, Sr. and Frances Jane Riffe Alger.

Cissi graduated from Big Creek High School and became a Pharmacy Tech at Citizen’s Drugstore until she would eventually retire as a U.S. Postal Carrier. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother to six grandchildren that were the light of her life.

In addition to her parents, Cissi was preceded in death by her brothers, Jeffery “Bad Hair” Alger and Franklin Thomas “Tommy” Alger, Jr.; sister-in-law, Patricia Alger; and grandparents, Harry and Ruby Alger.

Survivors include her loving husband, Gary McLamb; daughter, Emily Rowe, and Shawn; brother, Greg Alger; sister, Patricia Alger, grandchildren, James, Autumn, Laikulyn, Mackenzie, Lily and Lydia; several nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Franklin “Bub” Thomas Alger, III, and special niece Halen Patsey.
