Obituary

Frances Jean Foster 91 of Hale Avenue, Princeton died early Monday morning, February 24, 2025 at Belmont Village in St. Matthews, Kentucky.

Born in Princeton on August 4, 1933 and raised in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late S. R. (Sam) Arrington and Jettie Blevins Arrington Harman. She graduated from Princeton High School and McClain's Business College and Northwestern University School of Court Reporting. She was a Court Reporter in Mercer County for 27 years. She was an active lifelong member of First Christian Church in Princeton, and what she called "100 years in the choir."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Foster, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her son Drew Foster, of Louisville, Kentucky; Her Sister, Hila Arrington Lane of Ocala, Florida. Several nieces and nephews that were important in her life. She considered her friends a special blessing.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jean Foster will be held, Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory with Pastor Steve Janning officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
