Janice Marie Royer, 85, of Princeton died Friday, June 2, 2023, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Born October 15, 1937, at Ravencliff, she was the daughter of the late Arlie Curtis Goode and Elsie Cook Goode. Janice was a graduate of Pineville High School and a member of Athens Baptist Church.  She served as a bookkeeper for L.P. Stewart Chrysler Dealerships in Washington D.C., Reliable Collection Agency, Dalton's Automotive and Dixie Tractor.  While her health permitted, she enjoyed Bowling, watching Braves Baseball and Redskins football. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Robert Max Royer. Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Pettrey and husband Tony; Step-daughter, Roberta Royer; One brother, Charlie Goode; Two grandsons; Three step-grandchildren; Two great-grandchildren; Four step-great-grandchildren. Services to celebrate the life of Janice Royer will be held 1:30 Thursday, June 8, 2023, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Charlie Drake officiating. Inurnment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Bluewell.  Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 12:30 P.M. until the service hour.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com .
