James G. Johnson, 56, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026, at WVU Medicine/Princeton Community Hospital. Born June 15, 1970, in Princeton, WV, he was the son of John Preston Johnson and the late Rosemary Lyons Johnson. He was preceded in death by his spouse Tammy Farmer Johnson and brother Jeff Johnson. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons James Price and Brian “B.J.” Reed. Brothers; John and Monica Johnson, Jr. and Jerry Johnson. Three grandchildren; JJ Price, Jaylen Price, and Hannah Reed. Nephew and nieces; John Johnson III, Krissy Johnson, Faith & Zeno Cook, and several others. Uncles and aunts include Jerry Johnston, Dayton Johnson, Betty Lambert, and Debbie & Johnny Hodge. Also, special friend Anna Smith.
