James A. Jeffries Jr, 55, of Peterstown, died suddenly on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Shanklin's Ferry near Peterstown. Born January 22, 1971, in Arlington, Virginia, he was the son of the late James A. Jeffries and Linda Sue Martin Jeffries. After graduating from high school, James served with the U.S. Navy.  For many years, he worked at the Truss Plant in Pearisburg Virginia. In his spare time, he truly loved being outside.  Survivors include his daughter, Ariana Jeffires of Shawsville VA, Two siblings, Terry Landis of Fairfax, VA, & Karen Jeffries Vaughn of Radford, VA. The family has honored his wishes; he has been cremated and no services to be held. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
