James Michael "Jamie" Hurt II, 48, of Montcalm, died suddenly, early Saturday morning, March 1, 2025, at his home. Born September 3, 1976, in Bluefield, he is the son of James Michael Hurt of TN & Rebecca White Griffith of Montcalm. Jamie was a graduate of Montcalm High School and attended college for two years. While his health allowed, he enjoyed playing golf.  He was preceded in death by a brother Robert "Robbie" Hurt and Grandfather Wallace Gene White. Survivors in addition to his father James & Mother Rebecca, three children, Sydney Haynes, Alex Barnes & Annabelle George, sister, Kelly Adams & husband Matt of NC, Grandmother, Mary Nell White, several nephews and a niece. The family has honored his wishes, he will be cremated and no services
