Helen Ruth McKinney, age 77, died May 3, 2025, at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. She was born on January 1, 1948, in Mohegan, WV, the daughter of Marguerite Hicks Radford and Byrd Radford. After Helen graduated from Mullens High School, she would retire from Princeton Community Hospital after 35 years as a unit secretary in 2 West. Helen was of the Baptist faith and she had a love for reading.   Helen will be dearly missed by her family and friends for whom she loved and cared for immensely. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Floyd McKinney; siblings, Donna Sue Radford, Carl Edward Radford, Nancy Lee Billings, and Eugene James Radford.  In addition to her spouse, those left to cherish her memory are her son, Howard Riley McKinney, of Tennessee, and Lisa Michelle Duffy, of Bluefield, WV.  The family will follow her wishes, Helen will be cremated without a service. She will be interred in the Spruce Grove Cemetery, Basin, WV at a later date.  Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
