Grover Lee England, 84, died Thursday, December 4, 2025, at McDowell Healthcare Center in Gary. Born March 9, 1941, at Big Sandy, he was the son of the late Herman Curtis England and Edith Perkins England. For many years, Grover worked as a night watchmen for various coal companies in McDowell County. Grover loved life, anytime he walked into a room, he would light it up. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by five siblings, Oley, Helen, Phyllis, Arthur and Bobby Ray England. Survivors include his son Darren England along with a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Mark Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from Noon until the service hour.
