Glenna P. Wood, 90, of Frantz Avenue, Mullens, formerly of Princeton, died Monday, July 8, 2024, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley. Born June 15, 1934, in Gardner, she was the daughter of the late Eugene I. Pritchard and Mildred Farley Pritchard. Glenna was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved her Lord and was a member of the Bud Baptist Church in Bud, WV. Glenna was a 1952 graduate of Mullens High School and worked for Sears Catalog Department and for Mullens Grocery. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Mullens and had also served as Past Worthy Matron. Glenna had worked as an election worker for many years, which she really enjoyed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roderick G. Wood, and a nephew, Ricky Pritchard. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Phillip A. Wood and his fiancée, Lori Halsey; grandson, Roderick Jacob Wood; One brother, Stanley A. Pritchard; Extended family, Marcia Bell, Macada Bell and Joseph Bell. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Glenna will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Bud Baptist Church with Pastors Derek Sesco and Tom Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the church. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com . The Wood family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
