Glen Allen Underwood, 94, of Princeton, passed away Sunday morning, September 17, 2023 at Princeton Health Care. Born October 16, 1928, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late James O. Underwood and Annie Gertrude Bailey Underwood. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. Glen was a member of Teamsters Local 175, spending his career with Coca-Cola, Smith Transfer, and Overnight until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman and turkey hunter, known to many as the "Turkey Man". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, April Johnson Begovich, one brother and four sisters. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 74 years, Iris Rutledge Underwood; daughter, Glenna Johnson and spouse, Larry; grandson, Chad Johnson and spouse, Donna; and great grandson, Tyler Johnson and spouse, Hanna. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory Chapel on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor David Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.  Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from Noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The Underwood family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
