George Michael Zickafoose, 79, of Princeton, West Virginia, died Sunday, October 26, 2025, at his residence. Born May 5, 1946, in Beckley, WV, to the late George Oliver Zickafoose and Tot Bowling Zickafoose. After high school, he would serve his country proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served his country for God, Family, Love and Freedom. George would end his career as an HVAC technician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty R. Zickafoose; and a brother, Mark Allen Zickafoose. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Michael Zickafoose and wife, Stacey, Deanna Rouse and husband, Dennis, and Donald E. Zickafoose; step daughter, Melissa Renz; siblings, David Zickafoose, Tim Zickafoose, Doug Zickafoose, Jill Zickafoose, and Greg Zickafoose; several grandchildren. The family has honored his request to be cremated.
