George Curtis Seets, 78, of Princeton, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, July 27, 2022, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 18, 1944, in Lake Superior, he was the son of the late Lester Seets and Clara Lester Seets. Curtis was a graduate of Bluefield High School. He had a long career with Norfolk Southern Railroad where he retired as a clerk/accountant. Curtis loved yard sales, playing the lottery and going to Gatlinburg, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by five siblings: John Joseph Seets, Virginia Gillispie, and Alice McPeak, Kip  Lawrence McPeak and Tim Ryan McPeak. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Sharon Ball Seets; One son, John Curtis Seets (Renee); Granddaughter, Jordon Brown; Great-granddaughter, Noelle Brown; A niece who was raised like a sister, Cathy Poe (Roger); Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 30, 2022, in the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Rick Mathena officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball Family Cemetery at Speedway.  Friends may visit with the family Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
