Frieda Mosrie Barrett went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the age of 93, at the home of her daughter. Born May 11, 1929, in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Mauncy and Mamie Mosrie. Frieda was a member of Poplar Springs Church of Christ in King, NC; and a member of Mount Horeb United Methodist Church in Princeton, WV. Frieda was an accomplished do-it-yourselfer, and a talented artist and crafter. She was an amazing example of Christian motherhood, loving, kind and strongly independent. Her father Mauncy Mosrie, after coming to America from Lebanon, settled in Princeton,WV, where he owned and ran with her mother Mamie, what used to be known as the Fair Hotel Apartments in downtown Princeton. The Rural Hall, NC community familiar with Warren's Drug, will remember Frieda from her 43 years as assistant to the pharmacist and in cosmetics and gifts at Warren's Drug. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beulah Marie Mosrie Sisk just a few short weeks ago. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Terry Klaser (Bud) Of Edenton, NC, Cindy Maurer (Ron) of Youngstown, OH and Robin LeBorgne (Jay) of Winston-Salem, NC; One brother, David Mosrie; Six grandchildren; Eleven great-grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews; The family would like to thank RN Nancy Sellers, Hospice Nurse; and the entire team with Trellis Supportive Care. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 16, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastors Ron Maurer and Shawn Maurer officiating. Those attending the service are requested to meet the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton no later than 10:45 A.M.
